The initial citizens of this village, which is ranked among so-called settlement of an old mountains, made a chaircoal for living. The village have been settle nearby a iron-works which was abolished in 1550. Turist can see a waterplant from 1925 which still works and worth your visit surely. Beside this you can see an exposition of folk architecture and a monument „Mor ho!“ which reminds a broadcasting of the free Slovak transmitter during the Slovak national uprising.
